Placido Polanco, Tigers
Average position ranking on other popular fantasy baseball sites: 12
Why he's not liked: He doesn't steal bases and he doesnt hit for power (a combined 22 homers the last three years).
Why he should be: He batted .341 and scored 105 runs last season, and the latter number should improve in the Tigers loaded lineup in 2008. At a weak position, he could produce the best batting average of any second basemen, and his all-around numbers could be better than all but the top six (Chase Utley, Brandon Phillips, Robinson Cano, Brian Roberts, Dan Uggla and Ian Kinsler).
