Joe Borowski, Indians
Average position ranking on other popular fantasy baseball sites: 22
Why hes not liked: His ERA (5.07) and WHIP (1.43) were not closer-like, and he became known for making things interesting in his first season as the Tribes ninth-inning specialist. And then theres the outstanding Rafael Betancourt, the Indians' closer-in-waiting.
Why he should be: Hes saved a combined 81 games the last two seasons, and theres no reason to think he wont save 40 games again for a team that should be one of baseballs best. Dont be deceived by his high ERA. In three appearances last season, he allowed a combined 14 earned runs in 1 2/3 innings. In his other 64 innings pitched, he had a 3.23 ERA.
