All-Time Lineups Battle No. 10: Lone Star Showdown (Astros vs. Rangers)

By April 30, 2012

Follow me on:

We're deep in the heart of the All-Time lineups series, so it's time for the two teams from Texas face off.

Neither the Houston Astros nor the Texas Rangers have won a World Series in their histories, yet they've certainly come close. One out away last year. (Sorry again, Rangers fans.)

The Astros have superior pitching in the matchup, but the Rangers' lineup is monstrous, with a likely Hall of Famer batting eighth and a guy who hit 38 homers hitting ninth.

And of course, both have Nolan Ryan on their rotations. The Rangers' history also includes the brief stint of the second Washington Senators franchise.

Remember, this is the best player at each position in any one season, not a career record. Click through to check out the full lineups, rotations and arguments for the Astros and Rangers.

You know many people don’t genuinely know the benefits of operating a blog. Or even just the amount of hard work that goes into building a blog. Honestly running a blog could be a lot of fun as well as a great way to develop your own brand or even online business.
