From the article: Top 10 Right Fielders in Major League Baseball History
Some of the greatest hitters of all-time played right field. Perhaps the greatest two power hitters in Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron, and two of the greatest for average in Tony Gwynn and Ichiro Suzuki. And guys who could do it all, such as Al Kaline and Vladimir Guerrero.
Scott's pick: Babe Ruth. His stats are incredible, and what he did in his era was incomparable.
You Make The CallClemente
- Not much need to elaborate as guest Widds did. Of course, they will never get rid of the fences and they shouldn't . That's baseball, but Roberto was just beautiful to see. Having said that, the overall greatest player/person in baseball history was no doubt Babe Ruth as he transcended the sport, like only the great ones can. such as Ali and Pele.

No money in Clemente
- This list is the 'standard' data guys interpretation of the pecking order....those who ACTUALLY played (managers, players, umps, scouts, etc.) know Clemente is the most complete and had baseball updated the rules since 1800 something they would indeed 'statistically' find Clemente both visually and on paper the best. When they put up outfield walls they 'hurt' more energy intensive line drives than lazy fly balls that became home runs instead of fly ball outs. The walls also took away outfield defense, letting slow footed dudes 'off the hook'. Clemente is the best defensive player ever and the most successful hitter against Hall of Fame pitching. How could any be better?
