Through Nov. 7: Free agent period to sign exclusively with former teams, first five days after World Series ends.

Nov. 9: American League Gold Glove winners announced.

Nov. 10: National League Gold Glove winners and Silver Slugger winners announced.

Nov. 15: AL and NL Rookies of the Year announced.

Nov. 16: NL Cy Young Award winner announced.

Nov. 16-17: General managers' meetings in Orlando, Fla.

Nov. 17: AL and NL Managers of the Year announced.

Nov. 17-18: Owners' meetings in Orlando.

Nov. 18: AL Cy Young Award winner announced.

Nov. 22: NL Most Valuable Player winner announced.

Nov. 23: AL Most Valuable Player winner announced.

Nov. 23: Last day for teams to offer salary arbitration to their former players who became free agents.

Nov. 30: Last day for free agents offered salary arbitration to accept the offers.

Dec. 2: Last day for teams to offer 2011 contracts to unsigned players.

Dec. 6-9: Winter meetings, Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Jan 5-15, 2011: Eligible players can file for salary arbitration.

Jan. 18: Players and teams exchange salary arbitration figures.

Feb. 1-21: Salary arbitration hearings.

Feb. 13: Voluntary reporting date for pitchers, catchers and injured players to spring training.

Feb. 18: Voluntary reporting date for other players to spring training.

March 1: Mandatory spring training reporting date.

March 2-11: Teams can renew contracts of unsigned players.

March 28: Last day to request unconditional release waivers on a player without having to pay his full 2011 salary.

March 30: Opening day, 2011.
