  • Moved up one level per year in the minors, hitting .319 with 27 home runs and 112 RBIs at Single-A Beloit in 2003, 23 home runs at Double-A Huntsville in 2004 and 28 home runs at Triple-A Nashville in 2005.
  • Son of former major league slugger Cecil Fielder, who hit 319 home runs in a 14-year career.

    • Made his major-league debut on June 13, 2005 as a designated hitter in an interleague game.
