The Tucson (Ariz.) Sidewinders are the Class AAA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks and play in the Pacific Coast League, Pacific Conference, South Division with the Fresno Grizzlies, Las Vegas 51s and Sacramento River Cats.

    History:

    The franchise was founded in 1969 as the Tucson Toros, the Class AAA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The team became the Sidewinders in 1998, which coincided with the move to Tucson Electric Park and the change in affiliation to the expansion Diamondbacks. Other affiliations over the years:
