The Fresno Grizzlies are the Class AAA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants and play in the Pacific Conference and South Division of the International League with the Las Vegas 51s, Sacramento Rivercats and Tucson Sidewinders.

    History:

    Minor league baseball has been on and off in Fresno since 1898. The current franchise was founded in 1998 when the Arizona Diamondbacks expansion franchise entered the National League. A new Tucson franchise became the Diamondbacks’ affiliate, and the old Tucson franchise relocated to Fresno.
