The South Bend (Ind.) Silverhawks are a Class A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks and play in the Eastern Division of the Midwest League with the Dayton Dragons, Fort Wayne Wizards, Great Lakes Loons, Lansing Lugnuts and West Michigan Whitecaps.

    History:

    The franchise was founded in 1988 as the South Bend White Sox, a Class A Midwest League affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The name changed to the Silverhawks in 1994. Affiliations over the years:
