The Louisville (Ky.) Bats are the Class AAA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds and play in the West Division of the International League with the Columbus Clippers, Indianapolis Indians and Toledo Mud Hens.

History:

The franchise was founded in 1982 as the Louisville Redbirds, the St. Louis Cardinals’ Triple-A affiliate in the American Association. The team became the RiverBats in 1998, and the Bats in 2002. Franchise affiliations over the years:
