The Bunting Grip

Bend your knees into a crouch and hold the bat firmly with your bottom hand. Slide your top hand down the bat about halfway down the bat. Hold the bat like you're pinching it, with your thumb on tip and fingers below.

Keep your hands totally behind the bat, so the ball won't hit a finger. Many a bad bunter has broken a finger when attempting to bunt incorrectly.
