- Hit 46 homers and 146 RBI in 1961.
After Baseball:
- In 1975, Cepeda was arrested while picking up a marijuana shipment at the San Juan airport. He served 10 months in prison. The arrest is credited for delaying his being voted into the Hall of Fame.
