Ben Sheets, Brewers

Average position ranking on other popular fantasy baseball sites: 31

Why he's liked: He's a big name with big potential.

Why you should be wary: He has a career record of 73-74 with a 3.83 ERA. Even worse: He's always banged up. The last three seasons, he's pitched an average of 21 games and 135 innings.

A.J. Burnett, Blue Jays

Average position ranking: 29

Why he's liked: His inflated contract? His mediocre record? Actually, we're not sure.

Why you should be wary: His career record is average (69-66), as is his ERA (3.76), and he hasn't played a full season since 2002. I'm no pitching expert, but this probably isn't a good sign: Burnett has already been bothered by an injury this spring. He broke a fingernail when he slammed it in a car door in the offseason.
