Chone Figgins, Angels
Average position ranking on other popular fantasy baseball sites: 7
Why he's liked: See combine, NFL. Figgins has stolen a combined 155 bases the last three seasons, and he batted .330 last year. He's also versatile and could be eligible at second base and the outfield in some leagues.
Why you should be wary: He's not a huge average guy - his best career batting average was .296 prior to last season - and he has no power (25 home runs in 2,517 career at-bats) at a position that usually demands it. If you're desperate for steals, you take him over Mike Lowell (.324, 21 HR, 120 RBI last season). If you're practical, you don't.
