Carlos Pena, Rays
Average position ranking on other popular fantasy baseball sites: 9
Why he's liked: He finally lived up to his potential, batting .282 with 46 home runs and 121 RBI in his first season in Tampa Bay. I'm as guilty of the overrating as anyone, mainly because the choices at first base aren't as strong as in past years.
Why you should be wary: He's a .252 career hitter who, until last season, had never had more than 82 RBI in a season.
