What Is Fantasy Baseball?

By Scott Kendrick, About.com

Question: What Is Fantasy Baseball?
Answer: Also called “rotisserie baseball,” fantasy baseball lets you act as the general manager of a fictitious baseball team, making roster moves and lineup changes with real-life players using their real statistics. Your fantasy team then competes against other fantasy teams in a league with other people. Trading, cutting and sign players, like a real sports owner. Rules vary from league to league from the types of stats used, the player pool, the number of teams, etc.
