The Jacksonville (Fla.) Suns are the Class AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and play in the South Division of the Southern League with the Birmingham (Ala.) Barons, Montgomery (Ala.) Biscuits, Mississippi Braves and Mobile (Ala.) Bay Bears.

The franchise was founded in 1962 as the Class AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. Other affiliations over the years:
