Give the voting fans a B-plus, so far
With just a couple of days left in the voting for the All-Star Game starters, the fans are actually getting it right this year at almost every position.
Only one beef in the AL: Ichiro is a fabulous hitter most years, but his average is below .300 for the first time in a long time, playing for a dysfunctional team in Seattle.
The same position is a problem in the NL, where it's an interesting four-way race between Alfonso Soriano, Ken Griffey Jr., Kosuke Fukudome and Ryan Braun. Braun deserves it most, and he's in fourth.
There are always bound to be snubs, but so far, so good. If you haven't made up your mind, check out these picks for American League and National League All-Stars. You can vote on MLB.com until Wednesday at midnight.
