All-Time Matchups No. 4: Giants vs. Dodgers

Perhaps no teams parallel each other better than the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers, two teams that for the first half of their existence were in the same city, then moved west to California a year apart.

The Giants dominated the National League in the early years, and the Dodgers caught up to them in the 1950s. After the move to California, it was the Dodgers that became dominant, at least until the last decade.

And the All-Time Lineups of the Giants and Dodgers reflect that, a great mix of New York/Brooklyn and San Francisco/Los Angeles. Both have incredible pitching and Hall of Famers everywhere, with a few surprises sprinkled in.

Click on each team for the stats and arguments at each spot.
